Are you in a season in which you are feeling sad, lonely, or bored?
I have good news for you. You have the right and the ability to deliberately create a life that you love. Oh, it might not be “perfect”, but it can be glorious! There are millions of people who have gone from a “doom and gloom” mentality and oppressed life to a “sunshiny” disposition and abundant life. I’d love to share with you how you can do the same.
You are a creator.
You have the ability to create. You are the author of your story. You are the painter of your picture. It is time to let the past be the past and tell a new story. Close the last chapter. In fact; end the book. Begin a new book. Begin a book that you will write from a heart of love and gratitude; hope and vision.
How do you start? Start thinking differently. Your life right now is a result of your thoughts and actions up until this day. Sure, sometimes unfortunate things happen, but you always have the choice of what kind of attitude you will take on. You always have a chance to learn lessons and gain wisdom from negative circumstances.
Your thoughts create your reality. Do you primarily think positive or negative? Do you usually feel bad or good? There is a powerful law at work in the universe called the law of attraction. This law asserts that whatever you put your focus on, you attract more of the same. Therefore, it is imperative that you focus on the positive so that more positive things will come your way.
Maybe you think this kind of talk is not reality. Maybe you are depressed because your man walked out on you and you have children to raise by yourself. You’re tired, frustrated, and lonely. I understand that it must feel like the world is on your shoulders, but I do want to share that it is plausible that you can change your thoughts and tell a new story. You can deliberately create a different reality; one that you love.
Instead of saying, “I am alone, tired, and feel depressed”, say, “I am so happy and grateful that I have amazing children, a roof over our heads, and much love to share.” If you are lonely, you have the power to make a friend or two and engage in some activities together. You can even begin dating and meet a man that will adore you.
Instead of looking at raising your children as a burden, consider it a privilege and rise to the challenge. There are plenty of single moms who despite getting tired, adopt a positive attitude and feel genuine happiness with life.
If you are depressed, retrain your brain to think positive thoughts instead of negative thoughts. Make a list of positive affirmations and recite them out loud daily. You do have the power and the ability to change your attitude and your reality. Maybe you just need some encouragement and motivation.
Many women find that reading inspirational books or listening to encouraging audio helps them out tremendously. Feed your mind positive things and you will begin to change your perspective. It will take effort on your part, but you are well worth the effort.
You are a creator and you can create a glorious life that you love day after day. Do not settle for less than that.
